2011: Fundraising Challenge

Towcester Tearooms 2011 fundraising challenge will be in aid of 2 charities:

Oxford Transplant Foundation (Linked to Sharons Organ Donation in February)

As in previous years fundraising will culminate in Tony attempting a Physical Challenge. On August 9th Tony will set off to the Alps and attempt to climb to the summit of Mont Blanc. As in previous years this challenge will once again be 100% self financed so that maximum funds go to the two charities.

2010: The Thames River Challenge

Towcester Tearooms 2010 fundraising challenge was in aid of:

In August 2010 Tony successfully traversed the length of the Thames River.

Supported by Sharon and the rest of the support team he walked the first 13 miles from a field in Gloucestershire and then Kayaked the next +170 miles to Tower Bridge.

The total amount of money raised was £2,610

 

2009: "LEJOG"

Towcester Tearooms 2009 fundraising challenge was in aid of:

Tony was joined by 6 other local challengers with Sharon and her mother Lyn the support team, in successfully completing a 1,165 mile cycle from Lands End to John-O-Groats via Towcester.

The total amount of money raised was a fantastic £23,614

 

2008: A Triple Challenge

Towcester Tearooms 2008 fundraising challenge was in aid of:

The Ridgeway House Care Home - Towcester

In April 2008 Tony completed a unique triple challenge of the Paris Marathon, Cycle to London and then the London Marathon, all in the same week.

The total amount of money raised was £3,400

 

2007: Kilimanjaro

Towcester Tearooms 2007 fundraising challenge was in aid of:

Tony climbed the worlds tallest free standing mountain, Kilimanjaro "The Roof of Africa".

The total amount of money raised was over £5,500

 

2006: The New York Marathon

Towcester Tearooms 2006 fundraising challenge was in aid of:

26 miles covering the 5 borough's of the worlds craziest city.

The total amount of money raised was over £4,500
