Althorp
House has been home to the Spencer family for nearly 500 years. It has become
famous in more recent times as the burial place of Diana Princess of Wales,
who died tragically in 1997. The park boasts magnificant grounds of around 450
acres in size. Visitors may also view the lake where Diana rests in peace. The
House and Grounds are open from July to September, excluding the 31st August
when the House and Grounds will be closed.

Castle
Ashby is the magnificent ancestral home of the Compton family. Steeped in history,
Castle Ashby is the only Stately Home truly available on an exclusive basis,
be it for corporate and incentive events or for private celebrations and weddings.
Its gardens however are open to the public all year round.

Silverstone Circuit is just over 4 miles from Towcester and has come a long way since it turned from a wartime airfield into a major racing circuit. It is now one of the world's most famous motor sports venues and is both the birth place of British Motor Sport as well as being the home of the British Grand Prix.

Stoke
Bruene is a pituresque Northamptonshire village situated four miles from Towcester
and found on the Grand Union Canal. Its Canal Museum is based in an old corn
mill beside the canal and is dedicated to bringing to life 200 years of history
about Britain's inland waterways.

Towcester Racecourse is a national hunt course set in the beautiful parkland
estate of Easton Neston, the former home of Lord Hesketh, about 1 mile south
of Towcester.
